Belle Occupational Therapy believes that every child has the potential to achieve their goals and live their best life. We provide personalised Occupational Therapy and Feeding Therapy services to help your little one reach their full potential.
Meet our Therapist
Our Director, Alicia Bellert (Bachelor Occupational Therapy), is an experienced paediatric Occupational Therapist who has been providing supports to children and their families since 2005. She has worked within various multi-disciplinary teams in both government health services and community-based private practices in Townsville, Melbourne, London (UK) and Brussels (Belgium), and has now proudly called the Northern Rivers home since 2016. Alicia is passionate about providing a family-centered and fun play-based approach to sessions to aid engagement and learning. Research is proving that kids learn best through play, so lets make therapy as fun and playful as possible, to help reach their goals sooner!
Alicia lives in Lennox Head with her hubby, two beautiful kids and happy labrador, Molly.
Our Clients
Belle Occupational Therapy works with children 0 - 18 years who live in the Northern Rivers region of Northern NSW. We specialise in neuro-affirming and strengths-based approaches for:

Occupational Therapy Services

Feeding Therapy
A specialised program that helps kids become comfortable with trying new and different foods through creative sensory-based play and conversation, reducing the stress commonly seen during mealtimes.

- Transitioning to solids support
Location
We are a mobile therapy service and travel within the Northern NSW region to provide assessment and sessions in your home, community, school or childcare setting.
Funding
Belle Occupational Therapy's hourly rate is $193.99. This is aligned with the current NDIS Price Guidelines.

- NDIS - Clients who have NDIS funding under 'Plan Managed' or 'Self Managed' categories.
- Private Health Funds- If you have private health insurance you may be able to claim a rebate. Belle OT will provide a receipt following payment to claim through your health fund. Rebates vary between insurers and we advise you to check with your fund prior to making your appointment.
- Medicare- Belle OT is fully registered with Medicare. If your child is seeing multiple allied health services, you may be eligible for a rebate through The Chronic Disease Management Plan (Enhanced Primary Care Plan). Please discuss with your GP for eligibility.
- Private Funds- all eligible, if within age range.
